ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity 20th Anniversary Marketplace
Haring Ibon was invited by the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity to serve as one of the merchants for its Biodiversity Marketplace during its 20th Anniversary Celebration held from September 23 to 25 at the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna.
The event was attended by several delegates from Southeast Asia, including representatives from Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Singapore, as well as several students from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
Although the event lasted only 3 days, our Haring Ibon staff had a great time offering special discounts on our books and merchandise throughout.
One of our surprises for the event is our brand-new Birds of Mount Makiling Keychains, featuring 9 Philippine endemic bird species found there. This new set is our third-most-recent keychain release, following the Birds of Subic Bay keychain launch the week before.
We also have our brand-new Lagbaan at Malaboo maroon graphic tees, specially released for this event! The "Lagbaan at Malaboo" graphic tee is illustrated by our Chief Design Officer, Vinz Pascua, and is specially made to coincide with this event. This maroon tee features two Philippine endemic species found around Mount Makiling: the Lagbaan (Luzon Bleeding-heart, Gallicolumba luzonica) and the Malaboo (Rafflesia lagascae).
The success of this graphic tee design in this event tee marks the beginning of a new series of tees for Haring Ibon's future collaborations.
This is our first time attending and supporting an event alongside the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity, and our team would like to sincerely thank the ACB for their support and for having us for this special occasion. Congratulations on 20 years! We can't wait to be back in Los Baños soon.
