Dumaguete Literary Festival 2026 with Haring Ibon

Haring Ibon - Birds in Focus, Inc. joins the 3rd Dumaguete Literary Festival, held in Dumaguete City. This year's DumaLitFest is significant, as it also marks the official inauguration of Dumaguete as a UNESCO Creative City of Literature, with the theme "Becoming" for the city of stories.

Throughout the three days of the DumaLitFest marketplace, we offered special discounts on our books, apparel, and merchandise. We also showcased some of our new items, including our Haring Ibon Philippine Flora Umbrella, featuring over 45 species of Philippine native blooms, and the Langgam Graphic Tee. 

We also have our very own Vinz Pascua giving a talk on Philippine Birds and the birds of Negros Island on April 18, 2026, as a part of a program curated by Libraria Books, one of our closest partners in Negros. 

The Haring Ibon - Birds in Focus, Inc. booth had such a fun and wonderful time throughout the three days of DumaLitFest. This was such an unforgettable (and successful!) experience with the city of stories.

We would like to thank everyone who came all the way across Negros who visited our little booth from the 17th to the 19th, and to all the kids who had fun during Vinz Pascua‘s talk on Philippine birds on the 18th. We are incredibly grateful for all the love and support from our partners at Libraria Books, from the inception of Duma LitFest through planning our kids’ activities! Likewise, as well to the Arts and Design Collective Dumaguete for the incredible space and event that allowed us to meet other like-minded creatives from Dumaguete and beyond. We can't wait to return back to Dumaguete!
