Birds of Subic Bay wins National Book Award "Best Book in Science"

We are delighted to announce that Birds of Subic Bay has been crowned as the winner of the Best Book in Science Category of the National Book Development Board's 43rd National Book Awards!




In the words of Vinz Pascua: "Words cannot express how much this means to me as a young author and wildlife photographer. A project that took 3-4 years at the beginning of the pandemic has now been awarded the country's most prestigious award in its category. And this has given Haring Ibon - Birds in Focus, Inc., and me our first-ever book award, after several years of struggles and difficulties along the way."
